Visual Mobile Technologies is pleased to congratulate Kit Tuveson, the company’s new vice president of business development, on receiving the Chairman’s Citation Award from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the world’s largest and most widely recognized international organization for facility management professionals.

Tuveson was chosen to receive the award by current IFMA Chairman Jim Whittaker. Whittaker was honored to present that award saying, “As a globally respected expert with a 40 year career in the facilities management industry, Kit has shaped the course of the industry. He solved international challenges as Hewlett-Packard’s Global Director of Facility Management Operations and Environmental Health & Safety. He then created strategies as a consultant for clients needing to implement reliable facility management solutions that improved cost effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.” Tuveson received this award during IFMA’s World Workplace Conference & Expo 2014.

Most recently, Tuveson joined the management team of Visual Mobile Technologies (VMT), a company that provides real-time, collaborative, enterprise-wide mobile systems for facility and property management companies.

“I chose to work with VMT because they understand, as do I, that regardless of size, all businesses need 24/7, real-time communication and collaboration tools. Our technologies give users the ability to effectively and quickly deal with three mission critical operating areas; reduce problem resolution times, limit the severity and impact of critical incidents, and create training and shared knowledge resources. Our upcoming product release will truly revolutionize the industry,” Tuveson said.

CEO of VMT, Ray Lubeck noted that, “Kit brings a vast amount of domestic and international facilities management expertise to VMT, and…we are very proud he has been given this honor.”
