It’s a table! No, it’s a display case! It’s a science project! No, it’s all of the above (and so much more)!

Created by Landscape Architect Dagný Bjarnadóttir, Furnibloom is a line of plexiglass tables and stools that can have many purposes. Most significant is the fact that Furnibloom supports the growth of many different kinds of plant life—flowers, herbs, vegetables. Best of all, it’s weed free and ideal for city locations.

Introduced in 2007, Furnibloom will be on display at Shanghai’s 2010 World Expo on August 15, 2010. Check it out!
